I've been fascinated with the idea of combining drawing, with elements of nature, since last semester. Stuart does an amazing job of this her piece, seem to hold this essence of nature, that I'd love for my work to idealize at some point.

Artist Statement

Using color, patterning, idealized innocence through childhood and many other forms found in nature I'm striving to create experimental drawings and other creative medias. I tend to use a mix of medias while, mostly relying on drawing as a traditional outlet. I hope through the use of combining drawing with other artistic medias, I can elevate the field of drawing beyond just simple still life's and figure drawings.

As always my art is an evolving body of works and I look forward to how it develops over the next few months. I'm especially looking forward to how my practice can evolve and help shape the future of drawing as art.
